One builder, one phone number. I fix desktops and laptops at your kitchen table across Montgomery County, and if a job needs bench time I take it to my workshop and bring it back. The same care goes into every gaming PC I build.
$49 diagnostic visit, credited toward the repair · Written estimate before any work · 90-day labor warranty · 5.0 stars from 9 reviews on Etsy (13 sales)
Free 10-minute phone triage first. Tell us what's happening and we'll tell you what it's likely to cost before we drive over.
Up to 30 minutes of testing, a plain-English explanation, and a written estimate by text or email. Most jobs are fixed on the spot — if the diagnostic turns into a fix, you pay $89 total, not $49 + $89.
Cloning, teardowns and overnight testing go to our workshop. You get a pickup receipt with photos and the serial number; we bring it back, reconnect it, and show you it works.
In-home visits at one flat price within about 5 miles of Kensington: Kensington, Garrett Park, Wheaton, Chevy Chase, North Bethesda, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Aspen Hill, Glenmont, Rockville (Twinbrook) and Takoma Park. 5-10 miles (Rockville, Olney, Potomac, Colesville and more): +$20 per trip. Farther than 20 miles? We repair desktops by mail.
I build gaming PCs from my workshop in Kensington, Maryland, and I've been doing it on Etsy for about a year — 13 orders, nine reviews, all five stars. I don't sell a lineup; I sit down with you, find out what you play and what you can spend, and design the machine around that. Every build ships with its own 3DMark results and a one-year warranty on every component. This fall I'm bringing the same care to repairs, and I come to your home to do them.
After the diagnostic you get an itemized estimate by text or email. Your "approved" is the go-ahead. No part is ordered without it.
Never more than $50 added per part, plus 6% Maryland sales tax on the parts line only. Repair labor isn't taxed.
90 days on repair labor; 1 year on every component in a custom build.
One builder, one phone number: (240) 731-0651.
