High-End Gaming PC

Custom — designed around you, $750 to $3,000+

Anything the three tiers don't cover: small-form-factor builds about the size of a shoebox (our recent ones ran $1,300-$2,200), a specific case or color, more memory, an X3D processor, a work-and-play machine, or a tighter budget.

Build planning is free by phone or video, up to 30 minutes; you get two or three options with the trade-offs in plain English. An optional $100 design deposit holds a build slot once you like the plan, by Zelle, Venmo, check or cash. It comes off the build price, and it is refundable until I order parts.

Custom PC build — you supply the parts: $229 + 6% MD sales tax. Assembly, cable management, BIOS/XMP, Windows install (your license), stress test, 3DMark results shared, delivered and set up at your desk. Have parts shipped to your address; we pick them up (within 10 miles). 90-day labor warranty. Upgrading a PC you already own instead? That's a repair job — component install $89, each additional component +$29, no tax on the labor.

1. Talk to me

Free, up to 30 minutes by phone or video: what you play, what monitor you have, your budget. Want me to look at your space and your old PC in person? That's the $49 diagnostic visit, credited toward your build.
2. Get a proposed build — free

A parts list with options to go up or down on the graphics card, CPU, case, cooling and storage, with the price of each choice.
3. Approve it in writing

You pay for the parts (plus 6% MD sales tax) and half of the build labor up front, and the balance at delivery. Check or cash for anything over $500, since bank apps cap large transfers; Zelle or Venmo below that. I don't take credit or debit cards.
4. I build it, and you see it happen

Photos and messages at each stage — parts arriving, cable management, first boot.
5. Tested and benchmarked

Stress tests on the graphics card, CPU, memory and storage; 3DMark results shared with you.
6. Delivered and set up

Free at your desk within 5 miles of Kensington (5-10 miles: +$20 per trip). Shipping instead? Original case box inside a larger box with cushioning and expanding-foam inserts, shipped within one week of finalizing your order.
